In 2013, PES University launched The Amateur Scientist (TAS) to give young inquisitive minds a platform to build, experiment, and present. A decade later, in 2023, The Amateur Manager (TAM) made its debut — focusing on managerial skills and leadership among students from grades 8 to 12. TAM challenged rising leaders with real-world business scenarios, helping them develop critical thinking and problem-solving under pressure.
In 2024, we realized the future doesn't separate science from business—the best innovators master both. These two pioneering events merged into TAMS — The Amateur Manager & Scientist, a unified national arena where curiosity meets execution. Today, TAMS challenges students through competitions, workshops, and discussions that span both science and strategy.
